There's an awesome app for the iPad called Makr, which you can download for free. You can customize their templates to make your own cards, labels, and even product branding. They also have an in-app blog that you can read for more inspiration. Let's try it out, shall we?
How about we make a Valentine postcard? First, choose the template that you want.
I chose the template Pearl. On the theme overview, you can select the format that you want.
So I selected the post card, which is about 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". From there, you can play around with the design.
You can change the background color, add shapes like this heart,
and also add text. Write down your message with a selection of nice looking fonts.
Select different kinds of texture for the shapes. I like that they have this wood grain texture!
At the back, you can add your message, and also change the background color and text.
When you're ready, you can download the free pdf to preview your design on paper. When you are satisfied with your design, you can either have it printed professionally for $20.00 for 10 post cards, or they can send you the high-res pdf document for $3.99 if you want to print them by yourself.
But since I don't really want them printed, I just took a screenshot so I can share them with you guys in e-card form!
Happy Valentine's Day, friends! Hope you have a great one!
