Mauve and Taupe

Taupe and mauve are two subtle colors, but I think they look good together. Mauve is classy and not too feminine. Taupe is neutral, and it pulls together the whole look. It's a nice combination to use in a room if you are not bold enough to choose bright and striking colors. To keep the look from becoming bland, you can add brass, glass, or other shiny elements for texture and play with different shades for depth.
